Transmissive ECG equipment with over-reading services
With CompuMed's electrocardiography (ECG) equipment,
performing true 12-lead ECGs has never been easier. After patient
preparation, the ECG is acquired in a push of a button. By pressing another button,
the ECG data is digitally transmitted to our computer laboratory for immediate analysis and archival.
CompuMed's equipment transmit ECGs to our computer laboratory trans-telephonically (by plugging
the ECG system into any standard phone jack) or via the Internet (by plugging
the ECG system into any Ethernet port in your Internet enabled LAN network).
Either way, in about 2 minutes, ECG data is interpreted
by a sophisticated computer program and transmitted back to the ECG System,
then printed out on the System's high-density graphic printer.
The trace, patient data and interpretation print out on one page,
ready for the patient's chart.
Instant over-read request capability:
The most unique and life-saving feature of CompuMed's ECG CardioGram systems is the over-read button.
The user of CompuMed CardioGram systems can order an over-read on-line immediately upon obtaining the ECG report. This CompuMed-ONLY feature has saved numerous lives in the past 3 decades of CompuMed business and can potentially save YOUR patients' lives too.
Why is an ECG over-read by an expert cardiologist important?
